Olympic Club de Safi reached the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals after drawing 2-2 with Wydad in Casablanca. The Moroccan clubs finished level at 3-3 across the two legs, with Safi surviving a late equaliser to continue their continental campaign.
Wydad goalkeeper El Mehdi Benabid was dismissed after a VAR review for a foul outside the area. Safi then led through Sofiane El Moudane’s penalty before Mohamed Moufid brought the home side level during first-half stoppage time.
Moussa Koné restored Safi’s advantage in the ninetieth minute, but Hakim Ziyech answered with a free kick deep into added time. Safi withstood the remaining pressure to claim their place in the last four.
