Source publication date:
Sebastian Samuelsson won the men’s 10km sprint in Ruhpolding in 21:53.8, leading from the first intermediate timing point. His clean shooting and fast skiing produced his eighth career victory and first individual success at the Chiemgau Arena.
Tommaso Giacomel recovered from one prone penalty to finish second, 17.6 seconds behind. The Italian retained the overall leader’s yellow bib, while Samuelsson moved into second in those standings. Isak Leknes Frey shot clean for third, his first World Cup podium.
Samuelsson’s victory followed Hanna Oeberg’s women’s sprint win and completed a Swedish sweep. It also moved him above Bjorn Ferry on Sweden’s men’s World Cup victories list. Quentin Fillon Maillet, Eric Perrot and Martin Ponsiluoma completed the top six.
