San Salvador stages a regional archery qualification opportunity
The announced field included national teams and clubs pursuing Central American and Caribbean Games places.

The official preview for the San Salvador Grand Prix of the Americas reported 132 archers representing 26 nations and clubs. The event was scheduled from 15 to 19 April at the Ciudad Merliot Sports Complex.
Qualification places for the Central American and Caribbean Games were a principal objective, alongside recurve and compound individual and team titles. The regional pathway linked onward to the 2027 Pan American Games and potential LA28 opportunities, rather than allocating Olympic places directly at this event.
The field included clubs from El Salvador and Mexico and athletes from smaller archery nations. The programme separated the Games qualifier from team and individual finals. This is an April preview retained with its original date; the final qualification outcome requires the subsequent results record.
