Korea Republic finished first in Group A after a 3-3 Women’s Asian Cup draw against Australia in Sydney. A crowd of 60,279 set a tournament attendance record as the hosts twice came back from a deficit at Stadium Australia.
Mun Eun-ju opened the scoring for Korea Republic before Alanna Kennedy equalised. Sam Kerr then put Australia ahead during first-half stoppage time, but Korea Republic changed the match again after introducing Kim Shin-ji and Kang Chae-rim at the interval.
