Spain’s men secured their first victory of the Pro League season with a 2–0 win over India in Hobart. The result supplied a full points return after a difficult opening run and marked an important improvement during their Australian stage.

China’s women won the other fixture 3–0 against Spain, claiming only their second victory of the campaign. Ma Ning scored from an early drag-flick and added a second through a penalty-corner rebound as China established control during the first half.

Yu Anhui made it three by deflecting a recycled attacking opportunity, completing a clear Chinese win. The official report described a dominant performance whose score could have been larger, with both successful teams using the day to improve their positions in the competition.
