Spain’s women defeated Belgium 1–0 in Valencia, ending the visitors’ unbeaten start to the Pro League season. The hosts’ narrow regulation victory brought the full points return from a match in which their defensive resilience proved significant.

The Dutch men defeated Spain 3–2 in a closely contested encounter at the same stage. Justen Blok celebrated his hundredth international appearance with the result, while both goalkeepers made important interventions during an opening period containing chances for the two sides.

In Yunfu, the Netherlands women defeated hosts China 6–1. The emphatic result maintained their successful sequence and completed a day of victories for both Dutch teams. The official daily report linked the Belgian streak’s end with the two separate Dutch wins.
