Lainey Steen won women’s freeski big air at the Park and Pipe Junior World Championships in Calgary with 154.50 points. The fourteen-year-old American beat France’s Emilie Lewis on 143.25, while Australia’s Maya Broadbent took bronze with 134.25 in flat-light conditions.

Steen combined a 74.25-point opening jump with a final effort worth 80.25 to claim her second title of the week after slopestyle gold. Her victory also continued a sequence of nine consecutive podium finishes during the opening months of 2026.

Norway’s Frank Wahlstroem won the men’s final with 185.25 points, only half a point ahead of New Zealand’s Lucas Ball. Canada’s Jude Oliver took bronze on 173.50, completing a contest in which Wahlstroem landed three consistent runs.
