Supreme TIP Chonburi–E.Tech won the SAVA Women's Volleyball Club Championship in Bangkok after defeating Vietnam's VTV Binh Dien Long An 3–1. The Thai hosts earned a place in the AVC Women's Champions League scheduled for Goyang, Korea, in late April.
Only two clubs entered the zonal championship, making their meeting at MCC Hall The Mall Bangkapi the single gold-medal match. About one thousand spectators watched the home team, coached by former Thai international Wilavan Apinyapong, take the title.
Outside hitter Kuttika Kaewpin led the match with twenty-eight points, comprising twenty-four attacks, three aces and a block. Dang Thi Kim Thanh scored twenty-three for the Vietnamese side, who extended the match by winning the third set before Supreme closed the fourth.
