Türkiye reached the men’s and women’s recurve team gold-medal matches at the opening 2026 Archery World Cup stage in Puebla. Mete Gazoz, Berkim Tumer and Berkay Akkoyun defeated top-seeded China 5–1 in the men’s semifinal.
Elif Gokkir, Gizem Ozkan and Dunya Yenihayat took a different route in the women’s draw, winning successive shoot-offs against India and host Mexico. Their results ensured that both Turkish recurve squads advanced to the finals session.
The men’s final opponent was the United States trio of Brady Ellison, Christian Stoddard and Jack Williams, who beat France 5–3. These were confirmed semifinal outcomes on 9 April; qualification for a final did not yet establish the gold-medal winners.
