Australia defeated South Africa by six wickets to strengthen its position atop Group 1 in the Under-19 World Cup Super Six. Charles Lachmund took three wickets for 29 as South Africa was dismissed for 118. Paul James supplied 34 from 60 deliveries.

Australia lost both openers before Steven Hogan helped steady the chase. Hogan scored 43, while Alex Young and Jayden Draper eventually completed the pursuit. The defending champions moved to six points, continuing their winning run into the tournament’s second phase.

West Indies beat Ireland by 25 runs under the DLS method after rain stopped the chase at 164 for seven. Jewel Andrew’s 66 helped West Indies reach 226. Micah McKenzie took four wickets to keep his team in semi-final contention.
