Rain affected both matches on the final day of Under-19 World Cup warm-ups in Windhoek. South Africa made 255 for nine against Australia, with Jason Rowles scoring 109 after the team had slipped to twelve for three early in its innings.

Will Malajczuk then struck 85 from 47 balls in Australia’s reply. The holders reached 122 for two after seventeen overs before rain stopped play, and the match was abandoned when conditions failed to improve.

Sri Lanka beat Afghanistan by seven runs under the DLS method in the other fixture. Dulnith Sigera’s 95 and Kavija Gamage’s 97 helped Sri Lanka make 266, while Afghanistan was 110 for three when the weather ended its chase.
