Herriman won the Single School division at the 2026 Boys High School National Championships, defeating St. Ignatius 32-10. The May tournament at Moose Rugby Grounds in Indiana also delivered titles for the Charlotte Cardinals and Charlotte Tigers.
The Cardinals beat defending club champions San Diego Mustangs 21-13 in their third consecutive final meeting. San Diego led 8-7 at half-time, but second-half tries from Aiden McLaughlin and Kay Campbell helped Charlotte overturn the deficit and secure the High School Club title.
Charlotte Tigers edged Carmichael Hawks 18-17 in the Tier 2 final. Trailing 17-8 early in the second half, the Tigers recovered through John Telli and Nehemiah Gill Jr. The official 1 June recap confirms the three divisional outcomes, preserving their separate competition structures within one account of the national championship weekend.
