United States win NACHC title and 2027 World Championship place
A 32-18 final victory over Greenland completed the American qualifying campaign.

The United States won the North America and Caribbean men’s qualification tournament in Bettendorf, Iowa, beating Greenland 32-18 in the final. The result secured a place at the 2027 IHF Men’s World Championship and a third consecutive appearance at the global tournament.
The hosts had won all three round-robin games at TBK Bank Sports Complex: 32-27 against Mexico, 34-24 against Greenland and 34-17 against Canada. Ian Hueter contributed six goals and three assists in the final, while Samuel Hoddersen added five goals.
Hoddersen finished with 22 tournament goals and goalkeeper Benjamin Pedersen recorded 20 saves at 47.6%. Mexico took bronze with a 23-17 victory over Canada. Held on 12–16 May, the competition delivered the United States’ second continental title after 2022, pairing a regional championship with confirmed global qualification.
