Both clubs completed their Honiara round with a win and a draw.
Source publication date:
Vanuatu United and Auckland shared the points after a goalless OFC Pro League match in Honiara. The result left both clubs unbeaten during Round Four, with each collecting a victory and a draw before the competition moved towards Fiji.
Auckland enjoyed greater possession before the break, using the left flank to create chances. Vanuatu defended compactly and looked to release Alex Saniel on the counterattack, while Reid Drake came close for Auckland without finding a way past goalkeeper Matt Acton.
The second half brought opportunities at both ends, including efforts from Drake, Saniel and Kerry Iawak. Acton also saved a set-piece header from substitute Tass Mourdoukoutas, helping Vanuatu withstand Auckland’s late pressure and retain their clean sheet.
