Vicky Jepson names USA U20 women’s World Cup preparation squad
Twenty-four players will train in Chula Vista before the tournament in Poland.

Vicky Jepson selected 24 players for a United States Under-20 Women’s National Team camp at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista. The February 24–March 3 gathering continues preparations for September’s FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Poland.
Ten players are professionals and 14 attend college. Nine professionals play in the NWSL, while defender Zoe Matthews is at Benfica on loan from Houston Dash.
Winger Onyeka Gamero returns to the national-team programme after a lengthy recovery from an ACL injury suffered in November 2023. The roster also includes Kimmi Ascanio, its youngest player, and several members of the USA’s bronze-medal teams at the 2024 U17 and U20 World Cups.
