Volleyball cup roundup brings first titles in Montenegro and Portugal

Pafiakos Paphos retained the Cypriot men's championship and earned a sixth overall title, closing the playoff against Omonoia Nicosia with another five-set win. In Egypt, Al Ahly Cairo swept Zamalek to secure the women's national cup for a thirty-seventh time.
Iceland's cups went to HK Kopavogur's women and Hamar Hveragerdi's men. Montenegro produced a historic women's success for Buducnost Podgorica, who recovered from two sets behind against Herceg Novi, while Budva collected an eighth consecutive men's cup.
In Portugal, FC Porto defeated Braga 3–1 for a landmark women's trophy. Sporting CP beat Lisbon rivals Benfica in a men's final that required a 23–21 deciding set; middle blocker Kelton Tavares was named the match's most valuable player.
