Kaitlyn Watts and Joseph White qualified for the 2025–2026 PSA World Championships by winning the Oceania qualifying finals in Kooyong. New Zealand’s Watts defeated compatriot Ella Jane Lash 3–1, recovering from an opening-game loss to secure her first championship main-draw appearance.
Watts won 8–11, 11–7, 11–5, 11–2 in thirty-six minutes. After levelling the final, she conceded only seven points across the remaining two games. The result sent the seventy-eighth-ranked player into May’s World Championship tournament in Cairo.
