Winterberg Nations Cup crowns four winning sleds
Heavy snowfall tested singles and doubles competitors in the fifth qualifying race.

Anka Jaenicke won her first Nations Cup race in Winterberg, completing the women’s singles run in 58.096 seconds. Alexandra Oberstolz finished second and Embyr-Lee Susko third as heavy snowfall changed the conditions at the Veltins EisArena.
Andriy Mandziy won the men’s singles in 53.289 seconds, ahead of Jozef Ninis and Matthew Greiner. Italy’s Nadja Falkensteiner and Annalena Huber earned their first women’s doubles Nations Cup win, edging Romania’s Raluca Stramaturaru and Carmen Manolescu by 0.023 seconds.
World champions Hannes Orlamuender and Paul Gubitz led the men’s doubles in 44.082 seconds. Wojciech Chmielewski and Michal Gancarczyk took second, with Philipp Brunner and Manuel Weissensteiner third, completing four classifications in the season’s fifth Nations Cup.
