Freeride World Tour delivered a women-only clinic alongside the inaugural FIS Freeride World Championships in Andorra. The session brought together freeriders with different experience levels to work on confidence, technical skills and awareness of mountain conditions.

The organisers described the clinic as part of a multi-year programme supporting gender equality, from grassroots participation to professional competition and governance. Similar sessions had already taken place in Val Thorens and Verbier during the season, with further venues planned.

The clinics had been operating for four years and were linked to FWT’s sustainability programme. The Andorra session provided a practical development activity during the championship week, extending the event beyond elite competition to support women seeking more experience in freeriding.
