Thailand wins last-ball thriller as USA gets off the mark
Bangladesh and the Netherlands also preserve unbeaten starts to the qualifier.

Thailand beat Zimbabwe by one run in a match decided by a final-ball run-out at the Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier. Phannita Maya completed the decisive dismissal after fielding the ball off her own bowling. Nannapat Koncharoenkai had earlier scored 54 in Thailand’s 115 for seven.
Bangladesh recorded a second consecutive victory, defending 168 for five to defeat Papua New Guinea by 30 runs. Shorna Akter contributed 37 from 14 deliveries, while six Bangladesh bowlers took a wicket apiece as their opponents finished on 138 for nine.
The United States earned its first win by chasing Namibia’s 144 with four wickets and four balls remaining. Ella Claridge made 70. The Netherlands also stayed unbeaten against Scotland, with Sterre Kalis scoring 87 from 60 balls.
