Women’s under-17 final-round rosters submitted
Twelve teams named squads for qualifying in Costa Rica.
Source publication date:
Concacaf confirmed the twelve 21-player rosters for the final round of its Women’s Under-17 qualifiers. The tournament was scheduled at the Costa Rican federation headquarters in Alajuela from 17 to 22 March, with four places available at the World Cup in Morocco.
Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United States entered as the region’s four highest-ranked teams. They joined six first-round group winners and the two strongest runners-up from the earlier 28-team stage, forming three final-round groups of four national sides.
Replacements required serious injury or an approved medical reason and could be made until 24 hours before a team’s opening match. Concacaf approval was necessary, and any replacement had to come from that association’s provisional list while meeting FIFA eligibility requirements.
