More tickets for the 2026 men's Ice Hockey World Championship were scheduled to become available at noon on 31 March. The IIHF announcement said the release covered games involving every participating nation at the tournament in Zurich and Fribourg.
The championship was set for 15–31 May, with sixteen national teams competing across 64 games. Organisers indicated that further allocations might be released before the event and also presented hospitality options at both venues.
The March report described official fan zones in each host city, with public viewing, merchandise, sponsor activities and food offerings extending the tournament beyond the arenas. The new ticket allocation gave supporters another opportunity to secure places after earlier sales phases.
