Mohamad Zakaria and Amina Orfi won the Karachi Open titles at DA Creek Club. Eighteen-year-old Zakaria defeated Aly Abou Eleinen 3–2 in a hundred-minute final, while Orfi beat Sivasangari Subramaniam 11–8, 11–2, 11–7 in thirty-eight minutes.

Zakaria twice recovered from behind, including a 6–2 deficit in the fourth game. Eleinen later suffered severe cramps, and Zakaria established a decisive lead in the fifth to secure his seventh tour title and biggest career success at that stage.

Orfi collected her fourth title of the season, winning eleven successive points from 2–0 down in the second game before controlling the third. Zakaria’s victory also guaranteed a move into the world’s top ten, making him the third-youngest male player to reach that ranking milestone.
