Zimbabwe and West Indies complete unbeaten World Cup group campaigns

Zimbabwe beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in Colombo to finish unbeaten and lead its T20 World Cup group. Brian Bennett’s unbeaten 63 and Sikandar Raza’s 45 helped the side reach 182/4 after Sri Lanka had made 178/7.
West Indies also preserved its unbeaten group record, defeating Italy by 42 runs in Kolkata. Shai Hope scored 75 in a total of 165/6, before Shamar Joseph took four wickets and Matthew Forde three as Italy was dismissed for 123.
Afghanistan concluded its campaign with an 82-run win over Canada in Chennai. Ibrahim Zadran’s unbeaten 95 anchored the innings, while Mohammad Nabi took four wickets. The ICC reported all three matches in its daily tournament wrap.
