India and Pakistan reach the Asian Games men’s cricket final

India and Pakistan secured places in the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games men’s cricket final on 1 October. Their gold-medal meeting at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin is scheduled for 3 October; neither has yet won the title.
India defeated Sri Lanka by 124 runs after making 169/7. Ishan Kishan contributed an unbeaten 80 from 46 balls, while Sri Lanka were dismissed for 45 in the tenth over.
Pakistan beat Bangladesh by six wickets in a rain-shortened, 13-over semi-final, reaching the target in 11.3 overs after Bangladesh scored 111/7. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will contest bronze on the same day as the final.
