Japan finish the Asian Games judo individual programme with eight golds
Riku Okada, Ryotaro Masuchi and Mizuki Sugimura won on the final individual day as Uzbekistan and China also took titles.

The Asian Games judo individual programme ended in Nagoya on 2 October with five heavyweight titles. Japan won three through Riku Okada at -90kg, Ryotaro Masuchi at -100kg and Mizuki Sugimura at -78kg.
Uzbekistan’s Muzaffarbek Turoboyev won the men’s +100kg division, while China’s Xinran Niu claimed the women’s +78kg title. The final day extended the medal spread across the continent while leaving Japan on eight individual golds from 14 categories.
The International Judo Federation’s report and official results table confirm the champions and podiums. The individual phase is complete; the mixed team event is the remaining judo competition at Aichi-Nagoya 2026.
