Japan retain Asian Games women's football gold after penalty shootout
Shu Ohba saved the decisive DPR Korea penalty after Japan forced a late 2-2 draw.

Japan retained the Asian Games women's football title by defeating DPR Korea 5-3 on penalties after the final finished 2-2 following extra time at Shizuoka Stadium.
Mami Ueno put Japan ahead before goals from Jong Kum and Jon Ryong Jong turned the match in DPR Korea's favour. Hanon Nishino equalised in the 86th minute to force extra time and the shootout.
Goalkeeper Shu Ohba saved Jong Kum's third-round penalty and Yuzuho Shiokoshi converted the winning kick. It was Japan's third consecutive women's football gold at the Asian Games and fourth overall.
