The story behind the role.
Federer grew up near Basel and entered the professional tour as a teenager. His breakthrough at Wimbledon in 2003 began a run that established him at the centre of men’s tennis for two decades.
He finished his professional career at the 2022 Laver Cup after 24 years on tour. Away from competition, the Roger Federer Foundation supports education initiatives in southern Africa and Switzerland.
